Vado – Large On The Streets
Cam’ron is rebuilding The Diplomats legacy the right way. Vado is lyrically fit and this song proves it. The chilling piano sample, occasional vocal “OH!” that echoes throughout, and the Big L quote cut up on the hook combine together to make another Dipset classic. This is off of Vado’s upcoming mixtape “Slime Flu”. I hope he gets more recognition in the future.

Diggy Simmons – Made You Look (Flow Stoopid)
Diggy will be in the XXL freshman list in like 2014, mark my words. I don’t care who his father is and I don’t care what TV show he was on, he’s young and fresh. He kind of reminds me of Cory Gunz with the way he spits. His flow has gotten more polished and his voice is starting to mature. As he grows older, I’m pretty sure he’ll experience life more and have more things to rap about. As far as the video goes, it’s very dope. I like the NY essence of it including the Knicks snapback, pigeons flying away, and cityscapes.

New Cool Kids Songs Performed Live…
These song titles aren’t official at all but “Nascar” and “Bundle Up” sound CRAZY. These were performed in LA at the Key Club recently. I’ll definitely post the mp3’s ASAP when they are leaked. Back during my freshman year when The Cool Kids first earned their hype, I used to have every song of theirs released at the time on my iPod(Pump Up The Volume is SUCH a banger). The beats, subject matter, and their delivery had me sold. I hope their album turns out really good because they really are unique and trendsetters in their own right. To this day, I still hear producers try to emulate Chuck Inglish’s sound and rappers try to talk about retro J’s and starter jackets. The mixtape they dropped last year with Don Cannon was one of my personal favorites of 2009 and showed me that they haven’t run out of steam.

Lexo The Great – Doobie Brothers(Mixtape)
Lexo the Great has finally dropped his highly anticipated mixtape “Doobie Brothers” which is hosted by “GrindTime Official DJ’s”. This tape is super ill, just like Lexo The Great’s previous mixtape “LumberJacc Shawty:Choppin Down Trees Vol. 1″. I downloaded the tape at 4 A.M and played one track and the base woke me up completely. Grindtime Official DJ’s also did an amazing job mixing up the tracks. THIS IS A MUST DOWNLOAD!

Jordan 2 Retro Release May 1st 2010
Fresh off of the heels of two Air Jordan 2 Retro releases (white/metallic silver-natural grey stateside and the dark cinder/black overseas), additional information and photos of the original Air Jordan 2 have surfaced on the web. Who else is ecstatic about the re-release of the original colorway of Jordan’s second signature sneaker?
Originally released in 1986, this Air Jordan 2 basically established Jordan as its own brand; it became the first Jordan sneaker to rid itself of the infamous swoosh. Its primarily white colored is base is comprised of pebbled leather and regular leather; yet, its varsity red hints, seen on the heel, tongue (Jordan Wings logo), give this shoe a nice color contrast. Jordan Brand will officially release this retro on May 1st, 2010.
