Biography: Born in long beach, moved to palm springs california in 2007. I skateboarding and was an art fanatic until the age of 15 then started getting into rapping and producing and a lot more drawing and painting . Intern at Fresh Out The Box Sneaker & Clothing Boutique www.freshouttheboxshop.com my parents were a major influence. My mom would always listen to Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Wu Tang, and many other amazing artist. My pops would listen to LOTS of Jazz, Trip Hop Electro, and Hip Hop. stuff like Radiohead, Bjork, Avalanches and Big L, so I was always a music head. I grew up and felt I would express it through music as an easy outlet. I dont like to see myself as a one genre artist so I expand my music in many different ways, beats, songs, lyrics, etc. Like i would listen to Ra Ra Riot and be like ohh shit this is epic and then listen to Flying Lotus or something and try to incorporate the 2 in there. I like to throw weird stuff out there and I like to through original stuff out there. Today, I have very somber news for the international hip hop community, especially fans of the independent hip hop scene, and those who have followed my career.
It has been announced that Jun Seba, aka Nujabes, Japanese hip hop producer extraordinaire, passed away late February. Official statement from the label (in Japanese) here:

Through his soulful music, Nujabes has touched so many people around the world, even beyond his dreams. He was a mysterious character to most as he avoided the public limelight, rarely conducted interviews, so only a few got to know the man behind the signature production. Yet it continued to amaze me how young listeners of all backgrounds learned of his enigmatic name, and expressed support for his music.
As I write now from Japan, I had been leaving him messages the past couple of weeks, trying to get in the studio together, so the news could not have come any more unexpected. Even last week, I passed by his house and called him thinking he was still home.
I met Nujabes around 2000 and as an upcoming MC, I was fortunate to work on tracks such as Battlecry, F.I.L.O, Luv(sic) parts 1, 2 and 3. We had been working on the next trilogy of Luv(sic) over the past year (which we’re determined to see through). The last time we talked in January, Nujabes emailed me to wish Jeff Resurreccion, a 19-year old beatboxer who had just passed way from cancer, his heartfelt condolences.
While we continue to respect the privacy of his family, we will work to preserve his legacy, and pay tribute to the body of work, some unreleased, that he has left for us to enjoy. Jun Seba will be dearly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and fans worldwide.
After this and hearing his collaborations with Kid CuDi, I’ll be checking for Chip a bit more. We posted his mixtape awhile back as well.

Biography: Ev4n Holt government name Evan Holt is an American artist born in Columbia, South Carolina on August 5th, 1991. Although Evan was born in the south he refers to himself as a west coast artist after being raised in San Diego California from the age of four until fourteen. Like most African American teens Evan had hoop dreams and played both basketball and football prior to finding an interest in music. In his freshmen year Evan moved to Lousiana where shortly after he began writting and recording his first raps from home. Since then Evan has been featured on a number of mixtapes online, released three 3 Solo Mixtapes and most recently his “Thanks Dilla” EP. With nothing but time on his side the aspiring emcee is definetly an artist to watch out for in the future.

Other than that it’s another opportunity and I just want to get my name and most importantly good music out there.

This is a release reminder for the highly anticipated Air Jordan Retro Oreo 6s. I have spent alot of time debating on my second Air Jordan pickup of the year, which is between the Air Jordan Retro Bred 6s which came out earlier this year and these Air Jordan Retro Oreo 6s, I am glad that I waited because the Oreo 6s have grew on me a lot! After seeing these detailed photos of the Oreos I knew that I had fell in love!

It’s just a rumor as of now but some sources are confirming the release of these. Jordan brand is supposed to come out with these during Summer of 2010. I really hope these do drop because I like the white/infared colorway the most. 6’s are not even close to being my favorite Jordan, but infareds are some of my favorite colorways out of any number.
The Flint’s have been confirmed with a product number and are rumored to drop around the holiday season. We’ll update you with a price and release date in the future. The white/red colorway is just speculation as of now but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them release.
