I don’t think yall know how great I feel when I get to post up great acts from my city. First, the UTB x Taylor Gang collab. Second, my two mixtapes and now third, my boy Stevie Crooks with his second mixtape entitled “Diamonds & Guns”. I’m pretty sure the title is a reference and pays homage to the chorus on “Shook Ones” by Mobb Deep. Aint nothing more to say than that Stevie can spit and that this tape is hot. It’s got production from LAvish, Zilla, and from Mr. Crooks himself. The haunting but soulful “Crooklyn” allows him to demonstrate how talented he is with the rhymes while LAvish provides a dope sample filled with vocals and drum rolls. This is yet another W for the IE and more importantly, Moreno Valley aka The Murda.
