When I started up Originallity Kills in July of 2009 It was only getting 1 view a day, and on some days it didnt even get one. Even though it was super upsetting to not get any views on days i was happy when it got just 1 view. I just kept posting and posting and never giving up  so decided to stop playing basketball to pursue a dream of having a magazine, so then I moved fron blogspot to wordpress and taking “Blogging” more serious. It took a few months for people to latch on to what i was doing which was basically having a wide variety of posts, and not just stuff from hypebeast.

Now its Febuary, and now Originallity Kills is ran by Ace Mars (Myself) and edited by Nicky D’s ad is now a full throttle domain site supoorting and promoting up&coming artists, up&coming brands, and everything in between. But this would not be possible without everyone who supports the both of us, and Originallity Kills, so shoutouts to Lex, Thomas, Anwar, Casey V, Lavish, Reese, Carter, Rob At Bobby Fresh, Dom Kennedy, Skeme, Emily, Chris At Too Legit, Ev4n Holt, Mike G, Max, Cire, Haze, Michael Mars, CeeJay, Killuh B, Rich Hil, ADubb, B.Washington, Finally Famous, Crystal, KReam Team, The 20outsiders10,Lite CoolRoy, Dee And Ricky, Sketchy White Van, And Last But Not Least YOU!

Signed, sealed, delivered — according to reports, Shyne is back at his second recording home, Def Jam umbrella. The rapper had originally signed to the label while he was in prison in 2004, but that deal was subsequently terminated. His contract, which is rumored to be between $1 million and $5 million, was finalized Monday (February 22) when the company’s chairman L.A. Reid traveled to Belize to close the deal.

In an interview with 7Newsbelize.com, Reid said it was an honor to have Shyne back under the Def Jam umbrella.

“I have come here to stand by Shyne and to officially kick off our partnership with Island Def Jam Music Group and Gangland Records,” Reid said. “So it is really an honor to be here, really very special place. I am here because great people are worthy of travelling many, many miles for it and I come here to say that your country is great and I hope you guys know that this is a great man from your country who deserves this kind of respect and who deserves this kind of support. So that is why we are here.”

Reid also promised a “big comeback” for Shyne’s career — according to the report, the deal will not just house Shyne as an artist, but also provide distribution for his Gangland Records imprint.

“It is an honor and a pleasure, not just for me but for Belize,” Shyne said. “Chairman Reid is on the level of Berry Gordy, Clive Davis — the biggest music men in the history of music — and so to have a partnership with Gangland Records and Island/Def Jam is incredible for me.”

Def Jam records has not released a statement as of press time.

This video dropped yesterday but we had to wait for hotnewhiphop to post it onto youtube in order for us to post the video. The reason we post the videos via youtube is because it allows people to watch the video on the go from their iPhone, Blackberry, and all that good stuff.

With that said, here is a smalll track from Young Moneys’ own Tyga. I figured that he would drop a little video for the song just like he did for “Diddy Bop” and “Young Money” and he did, And boy! I can tell you I am not disappointed with this track. When I first heard this song I realized that Tyga has stepped up his bars. With 3 Spots left in the XXL Top 10 Freshmen Of 2010, I Think Tyga deserves a spot on the squad!

Here is the official trailer for Sir, Wiz Khalifa’s highly anticipated mixtape titled “Kush & Orange Juice”. There is no set date for the release of this tape. I am looking forward to copping this new new and seeing what Wiz brings to the table in his 3rd mixtape.
