What’s good everyone, here’s my latest piece of work, I made it in a day. Just to give you all a little something trippy/spacey that you can vibe to and end the Winter season with. First off I wanna say thank you to Soulja Boy for being my favorite rapper and for inspiring me to have fun and be myself on this EP. Thank you to everyone that’s played a role in the creation of this project and to everyone thats about to download it and everything. I really appreciate it. I made this five record EP in about 2 hours, all freestyles, all from me, starting at 4:30AM on December 4th and finished at 6:47 AM on December 4th. Here’s a new record from the Alley Cat Hit $quad General $lim Carrera also known as Ibn Gold. In this record, $lim touches base on his current ventures with Skateboarding, his addiction to Starbucks, and how great his life is at the moment along with various other things over an extremely one-of-a-kind beat. Having said that, $lim is currently working on his debut EP which is set to be releasing during the first quarter of 2012 so be sure to keep an eye out for that and everything else that he has planned. Here’s a small note that Carrera wanted to include in this post.

Ibn Gold: Blanc Tigre Part 1 ALBUM

Alright, here’s the project that I’ve been working on for a couple of weeks now. It’s titled Blanc Tigre, which means white tiger in french. One of my dreams is to have a pet white tiger, so I decided to name this album white tiger, because making beats will one day allow me to purchase a white tiger. This album is smooth, unlike the three previous beats that you may have heard from me, and although they are a bit different I’m sure that you’ll still enjoy it. I also included the three beats that I’ve dropped into this album so that those who didn’t hear them could hear those as well. I’m currently working on another beat-album, which is going to be releasing sometime before the month of September is over.. Having said that I want to thank each and every single person for supporting me on my journey with music, you are greatly appreciated (you know who you are). Here’s my third beat for you all. This is another trap beat, just as my first released beat. There really isn’t a reason that I cooked up another trap beat but, I think they are pretty fun to make now that I am kinda like use to it. Making Bumpity Bump was pretty fun too. I’m working on learning how to sample things and stuff now so, once I get that down packed be prepared to expand your musical pallet. Having said that, I hope y’all enjoy this lil trap beat. Here’s a quick bump that I made this morning after my homie Mikey Trill came over and taught me how to sample and chop up different things in FL. I really wanted to make something other than a trap beat for my second drop to show people that I am capable of making various types of music. This bump is heavily influenced by DOOM’s SPECIAL HERBS 1-9 and two or three different adventure time episodes that I watched on YouTube this morning. Having said that, kick back and vibe. I recently got ahold of an MPD 24 and a bootlegged FL Studio 9 from my homie Mikey Trill and I’ve been in love with them both ever since. Here’s a little trap beat that I have been working on for the past 3 days, non stop. So, having said that feel free to rap on this beat or whatever as long as you give me me some recognition and stuff like that. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making it.
